EV Charging Comes to Bicknacre!

Common Green is proud to announce that a new EV charging station will be coming to Bicknacre shortly!

After a fruitless search for sites in Danbury, the community benefit society was delighted to get the support of Bicknacre Parish Council and Friends of Priory Fields to approve a location for the project.

The dual charging point will be located in the car park adjacent to Priory Fields and is being jointly funded by Common Green and a grant from the Rural Prosperity Fund

Common Green Director Wendy Hubbard says: “The launch of our first project in Bicknacre is so exciting - it accomplishes many of our aims as a community benefit society by providing a resource for the local community, reducing the village carbon footprint and helping realise our goal to improve our resources and infrastructure whilst not negatively impacting the local environment.”

The installation should be completed in the next couple of months so watch this space!
